Will Smith has reportedly denied the claims made by American singer, August Alsina in his interview with Angela Yee, that he gave his blessing to the singer’s relationship with his actress wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

According to reports from The Sun UK, Will’s representatives have branded Alsina’s claim on Will’s involvement with his relationship with Jada as “wrong”, this follows Jada’s spokesperson’s response, denying and tagging the singer’s claim as “absolutely not true”.

The 27 year old singer had earlier in an interview, when asked to clarify his relationship with Jada Smith, said; “I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing and I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her…”

No further comments have been made by the couple to give the public a clearer view of the entire controversy.
