All We Know About Meghan’s Markle’s Wedding Dress, Tiara and Veil
The moment we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. We’ve finally seen a full look of Meghan’s Wedding dress and we have to say it’s gorgeous.
The stunning bride made her first appearance in her bridal ensemble while en route to St. George’s Chapel, where she’ll be exchanging vows and saying “I do” to Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle’s wedding dress has been designed by Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy. The stunning silk gown featured an open bateau neckline and sculpted waist. The train flowed in soft round folds cushioned by an underskirt in triple silk organza. The designer of the wedding dress was a well kept secret that was only revealed after Meghan got to the chapel to be wedded. The first time the Prince saw Meghan’s dress was as she walked down the isle.
The veil is held in place by Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, lent to Ms. Markle by The Queen. The diamond bandeau is English and was made in 1932, with the entre brooch dating from 1893.
Claire Waight Keller designed a designed a veil representing the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition. Meghan Markle wanted all 53 commonwealth with her on her journey to the aisle.
She also wore shoes by Givenchy made of silk duchess satin and featuring a refined pointed couture design.
