WEDDING CHANNEL AFRICA

The daughter of the Vice President of Nigeria, Oludamilola Osibanjo and her heartthrob, Oluseun Bakare, son of businesswoman, Bola Shagaya were joined in holy matrimony on Saturday, March 17^th, 2018 at the National Ecumenical Centre in Abuja.

The wedding was attended by dignitaries and top officials in Nigeria. The wedding was very private on the Vice Presidents request. Journalists present at the wedding ceremony were not allowed to record or film the wedding to honor the Vice president’s request. The VP also requested that guests not spray money at the event.

The wedding reception was held at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa. The couple’s traditional wedding took place on Thursday, March 15, 2018. This event was also private.

There were controversies surrounding the couple shortly after their relationship was made public. There were speculations that Oluseun was muslim which would make their union controversial as it would be an inter-religious marriage.

This was quickly clarified by both families as information was released stating that Oluseun is Christian and in fact a youth pastor at a Redeemed Christian Church of God.
