Step One Of Three! Ronke & Banji’s Court Wedding!

Popular Nigerian-American Youtuber, Ronke Raji has taken the first step with her boo of 7 years, Banji, a Nigerian-American photographer.

She shared a post on her Instagram, celebrating their love and describing how much they have been through.

Yesterday my life changed. I turned from a miss to a Mrs (legally in court & officially lol, this is step one out of three) I know I’ve said this multiple times but this man @bysirarthur has been my best friend for so long. In 2011 I created a Facebook album and named it Mr & Mrs Adeola. I didn’t know that one day in the future all my dreams would come true. It’s never been easy and along the way there has been lumps and bumps but we clawed our way through it because we felt like our love was real love. It progressed from a feeling to a choice, choosing each other everyday. I’m definitely going to share our other ceremonies and I’m super excited for what is to come for us. Operation #rnblove2018 is almost complete! 🤳🏾

Thier traditional and white wedding will hold in Lagos next month.

Watch their proposal video below.

Chidiogo and Andrew’s Afrocentric White Wedding!

Daughter of late Dora Akunyili, Chidiogo Akunyili and her beau Andrew Parr had their beautiful African influenced white wedding ceremony over the weekend.

The bride wore a beautiful white embroidered dress with elegant lacey patterns which had an Ankara touch while her groom wore a white buba and sokoto and added a colourful pocket square. Talk about an Afrocentric white wedding!

Chidiogo shared on Instagram,” Thank you @wangerayu for making this dream of a dress come to life.
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted an African touch to my wedding dress. I approached a woman whose work I have admired for years. We went back and forth, and after few months of deliberations, sketches, mock-ups, fittings, re-fitting, we both came out with a dress that brings a smile to my heart ❤ Can’t wait to share all the shades of this beautiful day with you. #chidandrew”

Say Hello To The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have said their vows and are now officially the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Their marriage was blessed by the Archbishop of Canterbury in a Catholic ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, England.

Meghan’s wedding ring has been fashioned from a piece of Welsh good, which Queen Elizabeth gave to the bride as a gift. The royal rings were created by London’s cleave $ company who also created her engagement ring.

Prince Harry and his best man the Duke of Cambridge are both wearing the frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royals while Meghan is wearing a custom dress by Clare Waight Keller the first female artistic director of the French Fashion House, Givenchy.

#Ayowa18 Ayodeji & Mayowa’s Fairytale Wedding In Lagos

Ayodeji and Mayowa’s love story is so sweet and relatable.

The couple were initially introduced by the bride’s friends but Ayodeji didn’t pay him attention at the start until a special Sallah party where they got the chance to have great conversations accompanied by champagne!

Ayodeji shared on her Instagram:

“The first time I saw him, it was one of those days at work when I looked like someone had dragged me out of my bed. @kekeoluwa & @lapieee were keen on hooking us up but I was not interested in this white trad wearing Yoruba demon with well-pedicured feet. Fast forward, a few months, I followed man to lunch & the man brought @Mrmayii to join us, I still didn’t pay any attention to him. Later that night, at a Sallah party, Mr Mayii Walked up to me with two glasses & a bottle of champagne. And I think that was it oh. Followed him to one corner to gist, he dropped all the right lines. Now it’s 3 am & I’ve forgotten that I still have to return to my father’s house.

He offers to drive me home. And now I can’t find my keys.
But all through the champagne, misplaced keys, ups & downs, arguments & near-endings, I always had this Peace in my heart that I had found my home.
Olumayowa mi, thank you! I adore you! Truly ♥️
Lord I am truly grateful for this amazing man.”

The pair got married on the 28th of April 2018 in an intimate wedding ceremony at Dvenue events centre, Victoria Island,  Lagos.

We wish the couple a blissful marriage!

XD2018: XENORA AND DERIN TIE THE KNOT, LITERALLY

Xenora and her lover Derin  (DJ Caise) took steps to officially become man and wife last week in Lagos State Nigeria.

The bride looked beautiful in her dress ad she walked down the isle with her father who was beaming from cheek to cheek all the way to the altar. He went on to join the band ‘SHUGA BAND’ to perform during the wedding reception.
